Interstitial cystitis (IC), also known as Hunner's ulcer, is a rare, special type of autoimmune chronic cystitis, which often occurs in middle-aged women. It is mainly characterized by fibrosis of the bladder wall and is accompanied by There is a decrease in bladder capacity. Frequent urination, urgency, and pain in the bladder area are the main symptoms. It manifests as a painful bladder disease with symptoms lasting more than 1 year. Lesions affect the entire bladder, and the mucosa is swollen, congested, and cracks or ulcers can occur. The ulcers are often located on the anterior wall and top of the bladder. The disease usually lasts 3 to 5 years, and the typical manifestation is that the disease starts to develop rapidly, and then stabilizes quickly, even if no treatment is performed, and there is no obvious deterioration.
