Korsakov syndrome

The syndrome was first reported by Russian psychiatrist Korsakoff. It is manifested as selective cognitive dysfunction, including recent events forgetting, temporal and spatial disorientation, without comprehensive intellectual decline. Also known as organic amnesia syndrome.
