Urine sediment crystals
The urine sediment crystallization examination is one of the contents of the urine sediment examination. There is a certain relationship between urine crystals and urine pH. There are many kinds of urine crystals, common are calcium oxalate crystals, amorphous urate crystals, uric acid crystals, amine phosphate crystals, and sulfa crystals. The crystals in urine can be divided into two types, metabolic and pathological. Metabolic crystals mostly come from the diet, and generally have little significance. The continuous occurrence of large numbers may indicate that it is related to stones. Pathological crystallization is associated with disease.
