Lupus nephritis
Systemic lupus erythematosis (SLE) is an autoimmune disease of unknown etiology characterized by multiple systemic damage and the formation of multiple autoantibodies. Patients can produce antibodies against their own nuclear, cytoplasmic, and membrane antigens. Clinical manifestations are fever, facial erythema, polymorphous rash, photosensitivity, multiple oral ulcers, arthritis, multiple serositis, vasculitis, nephritis and central nervous system symptoms. The condition is very variable, and it is easy to be misdiagnosed or missed because of a prominent system or organ lesion. The main manifestation of kidney damage is called systemic lupus erythematosus nephritis.
