Pelvic fracture
Pelvic fractures are a serious trauma, mostly caused by direct violent pelvic compression. More common in traffic accidents and landslides. Firearm injuries during wartime. Pelvic fractures are traumatic, with more than half being accompanied by comorbidities or multiple injuries. The most serious are traumatic hemorrhagic shock, and pelvic organ injuries. Improper treatment has a high mortality rate.
