Early satiety

The so-called "early satiety" refers to the feeling of "satisfaction" when the amount of food eaten is less than the normal amount, which indicates that there is a problem with the stomach. To be specific, there is a problem with "gastric motility"! And the function of storing food is reduced. If you can't relax normally after eating, the patient will feel full, usually accompanied by belching, abdominal distension, and even nausea and vomiting. The root cause is that the slowing of gastric emptying causes a series of symptoms of indigestion, which we call "functional dyspepsia." Slower gastric emptying can lead to longer food retention in the stomach, increased gastric acid secretion, and further damage to the mucous membranes. Over time, gastritis is prone to occur. And gastritis will further promote the slowing of gastric motility, which will cause a vicious cycle.
