Infants with protruding umbilicus

Umbilical hernia in infants and young children is a congenital developmental deficiency disease, which gradually decreases with age. Most can heal within 2 years of age. The surface of the hernia is covered with skin. The umbilical mass is prominent. The mass is enlarged when crying. The skin is very thin and cyan. It is quiet and supine or the mass shrinks and disappears during sleep.
