Cat scratch disease
Cat scratch disease is caused by Hanseatic infection. The pathogens infect humans mainly through contact with cats and other domestic animals, or scratching and biting the skin. Typical clinical features are primary skin lesions and lymphadenopathy, which are generally benign and self-limiting. However, a few patients may have severe systemic damage, such as granulomatous hepatitis, hepatosplenomegaly, neuritis, and meningoencephalitis. The whole course of disease is 1 to 4 months.
