Tenderness

Tenderness is a clinical sign. During palpation, pain occurs when the index finger of the right hand and the middle finger are placed on the abdominal wall gradually and deeply. Tenderness often indicates lesions in the associated abdominal organs. The causes of tenderness are mostly lesions in the abdominal wall or abdominal cavity. Common related diseases include inflammation, tuberculosis, stones, tumors and so on.
