Urine glutamine

Glutamic acid can cause necrosis of retinal cells. Glutamic acid generates glutamine into the blood under the action of glutamic acid dehydrogenase. With the increase of concentration, brain tissue can be expanded, especially after a large amount of glutamate (acid) is released, activating glutamate receptors, causing the excitatory neurons to continue to polarize, disturbing the neuronal regulation mechanism, leading to ionic osmotic pressure and electrochemical change. Therefore, determination of urine glutamate concentration can also independently predict liver coma.
