Pediatric pulmonary embolism
Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a collective term for a group of diseases or clinical syndromes caused by various emboli obstructing the pulmonary artery system. Previous views have always held that children with PE are rare in clinical practice, but a large amount of data at home and abroad and autopsy have confirmed that this disease is not a rare disease. On the basis of the primary disease, there are high-risk factors for PE, which are the main causes of PE in children, such as congenital heart disease with infective endocarditis, nephrotic syndrome with hypercoagulable state, and so on.
