Paralysis of muscles below the thigh or below the knee
Paralysis of muscles below the thigh or below the knee is common with sciatic nerve injury. Diagnosis of sciatic nerve injury: history of trauma or injection, paralysis of muscles below the thigh or knee; muscle paralysis in the innervation zone of the nerve branch. Part of the area below the calf feels lost. EMG can confirm the diagnosis.
