Swelling and tenderness in the wrist
Fractures of the lower radius are mainly manifested as swelling and tenderness of the wrist. Distal radius fractures are extremely common, accounting for about one-tenth of normal fractures. More common in older women, children and young people. Fractures occurred within 2 to 3 cm of the distal radius. Often accompanied by radial wrist and lower ulnar radial joint damage.
