Stiff fingers

Rheumatoid arthritis, often involving the proximal knuckles of the fingers, has morning stiffness (stiff fingers in the morning and difficulty in making fists). It is usually characterized by multiple joint pains, often symmetry and migration. It may also be proliferative arthritis, which is usually older and more than 40 years old. X-ray examination shows bone hyperplasia.
