Hepatic artery occlusion
Due to the dual blood supply of the liver, hepatic infarction due to hepatic artery occlusion is rare. Hepatic artery occlusion can be caused by atherosclerosis, embolism, thrombosis, vasculitis, or hypotension shock. Occasionally, hepatic artery thrombosis can occur after pregnancy or oral contraceptives. The onset of this disease is rapid and dangerous. Unless early diagnosis and treatment, the mortality rate is high.
