Colloidal iron staining
Colloidal iron staining means that at pH 2.0, free acidic groups in the cell have affinity for colloidal iron, and then interact with acidic potassium ferrocyanide. Prussian blue reaction can occur in the part of acidic mucopolysaccharide in the cytoplasm. Shown in blue.
