Sedative poisoning
Poisoning of sedativehypnotic drugs is a series of over-suppressive disorders of the central nervous system caused by taking an excessive amount of sedative hypnotic drugs. Sedative hypnotic poisoning manifests as drowsiness, emotional instability, inattention, memory loss, ataxia, ambiguous pronunciation, gait instability, nystagmus, ataxia, and significant respiratory depression.
