Capillary pulsation
Gently press the end of the patient's nail with a finger or lightly press the patient's lips and mucous membrane with a glass slide, which can make the area white, and when the heart contracts, the area becomes red again. The regular red and white alternating with the cardiac cycle is the capillary pulse sign . (See severe aortic insufficiency or peripheral capillary wall dilatation)
