Cough up brown sputum
The main symptoms of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis in the acute phase are wheezing (96%), hemoptysis (85%), mucopurulent sputum (80%), fever (68%), chest pain (55%), and coughing brown sputum ( 54%). The majority of hemoptysis is sputum, but 4% of patients have a large amount of hemoptysis.
