The cornea is like the glass on a watch, it covers the iris and pupil. Outer corneal cells are the body's fastest healing tissues, but you should not take them lightly. When the sun or some external objects, especially rough solids, contact or rub over the corneal surface, they can cause various degrees of corneal abrasions, such as corneal epithelial defects or exfoliation.
