Pulmonary bleeding
Definition: Lung injury results from trauma or internal injury. Pulmonary bleeding may occur at the same time as trauma or coagulopathy. Lung contusion and bleeding are common after trauma. Congestion formed within 6 hours after trauma. Symptoms worsen within 24 to 48 hours, and complete healing often occurs within 3 to 10 days. There may also be other symptoms of chest trauma, such as a fractured rib. Clinical symptoms include dyspnea, shortness of breath, cough, and bleeding.
