Coagulation factor Ⅲ Ⅲ characterization

Factor XIII is a glycoprotein, also known as fibrin stabilizing factor, derived from a variety of cells in the bone marrow and the liver. Factor XIII participates in the formation of thrombin and has an important role in forming a stable fibrin clot, which not only increases resistance to plasmin, but also facilitates wound healing. However, in the absence of factor XIII, insoluble fibrin cannot be produced, and only soluble fibrin can be produced.
