Advanced congenital syphilis
Late congenital syphilis refers to the infection of Treponema pallidum in pregnant women through the placental menstrual blood directly to the fetus. Onset usually begins at the age of 5-8 years old, and many symptoms appear successively at the age of 13-14 years. Late-onset symptoms can only occur at the age of 20 years.
