Asymmetric tonic neck reflex

The tension neck reflex posture is a change in the muscle tension of the limbs and the position of the eye when the head position changes. Divided into symmetrical tonic neck reflex posture and asymmetric tonic neck reflex posture. The asymmetric tonic neck reflex posture appears about one week after the birth of the newborn, and it is dominant for two to three months, and then gradually disappears under the control of the upper center. If it persists for three months after birth, it is abnormal.
