Atrial septal defect

Atrial septal defect is a hypoplasia of the space between the left and right atria, and congenital malformations of the blood flow that are caused by the remaining defect. Atrial septal defects can be divided into two types: secondary foramen and primary foramen according to embryonic development, the former being the majority.
