Paroxysmal limb stiffness
Paroxysmal limb stiffness is the main manifestation of flesh spasm. Meat spasm is caused by cold, dampness or heat poisoning, which invades muscles, or liver and spleen disorders, qi block, and muscle and muscle insufficiency. Spasm diseases with paroxysmal limb stiffness, urgency and pain as the main manifestations. This disease is similar to the stiff-man syndrome and myotonia described in western medicine.
