Gastric sinus vasodilation
Gastric antral vascular ectasias (GAVE) endoscopically shows that the dilated blood vessels are red striped and concentrated along the top of the mucosal fold toward the pylorus, that is, striped gastric antral vascular ectasia (S-GAVE). Because its appearance is similar to the stripes on watermelon peel, it is also called watermelon stomach (WSM).
