Intestinal infarction

The interruption of blood flow for any reason causes intestinal ischemic necrosis, called infarction. Infarction is usually caused by ischemic hypoxia and intestinal necrosis caused by arterial occlusion, but venous occlusion, local blood flow stagnation and hypoxia can also cause infarction.
