Acute obstructive suppurative cholangitis is caused by acute complete obstruction of the bile ducts and purulent infection. It is a serious type of biliary tract infection and is also called acute severe cholangitis. Clinical manifestations are generally more serious, and the most important treatment is to remove gallbladder obstruction and drain in time.
