Single ileal ostomy

The ileal (terminal) single-mouth ostomy is a permanent or temporary complete ostomy. Note on ileal single-mouth ostomy: 1. When performing ileal single-mouth ostomy, pay attention to the tightness of the abdominal wall ostomy fistula. Generally, it is appropriate to pass two fingers to prevent the fistula from coming out or narrowing. 2. When the colon has obstruction symptoms and the distal ileum cannot be closed, the ileum can be pulled out from the incision to perform a double-mouth fistula.
