Because of the high incidence of postoperative complications such as shallow anterior chamber, choroidal detachment, cataract, and endophthalmitis, it is not commonly used. However, due to its low intraocular pressure control level, it is suitable for some patients who need to control intraocular pressure, such as normal intraocular pressure glaucoma.
