Cicatricial ectropion repair

After eversion of the eyelids, the conjunctiva becomes hyperemia, hypertrophy or keratosis. The upper eyelid eversion can expose the cornea, form corneal ulcers or white spots, and even cause blindness, so it should be corrected in time. There are many methods to correct ectropion, which need to be selected according to different degrees of ectropion. Eversion caused by mild linear scar on the lower eyelid; it can be corrected with vy or z-shaped orthopedics. Large area scarring ectropion is treated with skin graft. Patients with mild eversion of the lower eyelid can also be repaired with the upper eyelid flap.
