Retroperitoneal tumor

Primary retroperitoneal tumors refer to tumors that occur in the retroperitoneal space, and do not include tumors of various organs originally in the retroperitoneal space. It is a rare tumor. Most are malignant, accounting for about 70%. The most common benign tumors are teratomas, schwannomas, and fibroids. The most common malignant tumors are liposarcoma, fibrosarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, embryonic cancer, neurofibrosarcoma, and malignant lymphoma.
