Roundworm
Ascariasis (enterobiasis) is an intestinal parasitic disease that causes itching in the anus and perineum. The epidemic is extremely widespread all over the world, with 300 to 500 million infected people worldwide. It is widespread in the south and north of China, and the infection rate of children is higher than that of adults. In particular, the infection rate of children in collective institutions is high. Domestic survey data show that the infection rate of children reaches 40% to 70%, and the infection rate of children living in groups in cities is higher than that in rural areas. In households with poor sanitation, most members often get sick at the same time.
