Thymic carcinoma
Primary thymic cancer refers to thymic epithelial tumors with malignant cell structural characteristics. In concept and practice, it is easily confused with malignant thymic tumors and thymic metastatic cancers. The most common tissue types are squamous cell carcinoma and undifferentiated carcinoma, and most patients have different symptoms. Surgical resection and radiotherapy are the main treatments, but the efficacy and prognosis are poor.
