Blood fructose
In addition to glucose, there is a small amount of other hexoses, such as sugar, galactose, and mannose. After these sugars have been absorbed, they can be transformed in the body to enter the catabolism of sugar, providing energy or storing glycogen. When the human body lacks certain enzymes or certain diseases, fructose metabolism may be abnormal, making fructose unable to be converted and utilized. Fructose in blood and urine can be elevated.
