Pediatric desquamative pneumonia
Desquamative interstitial pneumonia (DIP or D.histocytic IP) is rarer in children than in adults and can be seen in infants and children of any age. The smallest case in the literature is one that occurs on the first day after birth, and can occur in both men and women.
