Sudan black B stain
SBB staining is more sensitive than POX in identifying leukemia types, especially in helping to distinguish acute non-lymphocytic leukocytes from acute lymphocytic leukocytes. Sudan black is a fat-soluble dye that can dye neutral fats, phospholipids, cholesterol and other lipids in cells into brown-black particles and locate in the cytoplasm.
