Parkinson's disease dementia
Parkinson's disease is a slow-onset, selective, mesencephalic substantia nigra dopaminergic neuron loss and a significant reduction in striatum dopamine content, leading to a series of symptoms in the extrapyramidal system, with reduced movement, myotonia, tremors and Posture disorders are the main clinical manifestations. The disease occurs in middle-aged and elderly people, and the age of onset is mostly 55 to 61 years. The course of the disease is slowly progressive. Significantly different from Alzheimer's.
