CSF adenosine

Cyclic adenosine is a substance with a wide range of biological effects in the body, which is higher in brain tissue and cerebrospinal fluid. Therefore, when the brain and meninges are affected, cAMP content in the cerebrospinal fluid can be changed due to cell metabolism disorders. Detection of cAMP may be more sensitive than indicators such as protein, glucose and cell count.
