Gastric tympanic region

Gastric bubble drum sound area is located above the left anterior chest lower costal margin, is approximately semi-circular, formed for the stomach bottom fornix with air. The upper boundary is the diaphragm and the lower edge of the lung, the lower boundary is the costal arch, the left boundary is the spleen, and the right boundary is the left margin of the liver. Its size is affected by the amount of gas in the gastric vesicles and the surrounding organs and tissues.
