Pediatric Legionnaires Nephropathy
Legionella infection is mainly manifested as pneumonia, which can also be combined with damage to other systems, thereby aggravating the disease. Renal involvement is one of the most common comorbidities of legionnaries disease (LD). Proteinuria can occur in half of the cases, and hematuria is about 1/4 under the microscope. In severe cases, it can cause acute renal failure (acute renal failure). It has been reported that if LD has two organs damaged, the fatality rate is 66%; three organs damaged increases to 95%, and four organs damaged 100%.
