EA rosette activation test

There are Fc receptors on the surface of B lymphocytes, which can bind to the Fc segment of immunoglobulin (lgG). Therefore, bovine red cells or chicken red cells sensitized with antibodies are mixed with B lymphocytes. It can be seen that bovine red blood cells or Chicken erythrocytes. After staining, red bovine erythrocytes or chicken erythrocytes and blue lymphocytes in the center form a rose petal shape, forming a wreath-like shape. To distinguish the T-lymphocyte E wreath, it is called EA wreath. Those with 3 or more bovine or red blood cells adhered to the surface are called rosette-forming cells (ie, EA-positive cells). Count 200 lymphocytes under a microscope, calculate the percentage of rosette formation, and estimate the percentage of B lymphocytes.
