Anti-U1RNP antibody
Like Sm antigen, U1RNP (U1 ribonucleoprotein) is also an extractable nuclear antigen (ENA). In 1972, Sharp et al reported a new group of rheumatism, called mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD), and anti-U1RNP antibodies were found in the serum of this group of patients. Its target antigen consists of U1 snRNA and 70kD, A, C and a small amount of B '/ B, D, E, F, G and other proteins. They also participate in the cleavage of mRNA precursors. It has also been confirmed that anti-U1RNP antibodies can enter living lymphocytes, interfere with cell function, and induce apoptosis.
