Protein tumor markers

Most solid tumors are derived from epithelial cells. When tumor cells rapidly differentiate and increase in value, some cell types or components that do not appear in normal tissues appear in large numbers, such as keratin as a cell scaffold, which becomes a tumor marker. Tumor markers that belong to proteins by chemical nature include: ① enzymes; ② protein or peptide hormones; ③ other proteins that do not belong to the former two.
