Colonic expelling test

The colon expelling test is performed according to the following principles. The appendix is connected to the cecum, which in turn extends to the colon. When the appendix or cecum is inflamed, such as intestinal flatulence in the colon, the intestinal wall tension of the inflammation site increases, which can cause pain in the right lower abdomen. This test is to artificially increase the bowel pressure in the ileocecal area and observe the occurrence of abdominal pain to determine whether there is appendicitis or cecumitis.
