Pediatric aorta transposition
The transposition of the great arteries in children means that the right atrium is connected to the right ventricle, the right ventricle sends out the aorta, and the left ventricle is connected to the left atrium and sends out the pulmonary artery. Dislocation of large blood vessels, also known as transposition of large blood vessels, is an anatomical interchange of the aorta and pulmonary arteries, forming a congenital malformation of systemic and pulmonary circulation abnormalities. Under normal circumstances, the left ventricle is connected to the aorta, and the right atrium is connected to the pulmonary artery. The prognosis of untreated patients is poor, 30% of the infants die in the first week after birth, 50% die within 1 month, and 70% die within 6 months.
