FBC Rose Test
A method for detecting human T lymphocytes. The surface of human T lymphocytes has red blood cell receptors, which can spontaneously bind to sheep red blood cells to form a rose petal shape, hence the name. These receptors are synthesized by living cells and lose their ability to form E-roses when they die. This response is a unique hallmark of human T lymphocytes. The cellular immunity of the T cell body, when the results of the E-rose test in the blood are significantly reduced, indicates a decrease in the level of cellular immunity.
