Persistent pain
Persistent pain is a sensation caused by various damage to the body tissue, which often urges the body to avoid these damages, and is therefore a warning signal for the body and has a protective effect. However, persistent and intense pain can cause physiological disturbances and even shock and other consequences. Any kind of stimulus (physical or chemical) can cause pain at a certain intensity.
