Recurrent scleral congestion
Periodic superficial scleritis (periodic episcleritis) is also called transient episcleritis (transient episcleritis). Mostly occur in women's menstrual periods. The scleral surface and bulbar conjunctiva at the lesion site were diffusely congested and edema, but were purple-red. It occurs periodically, with each episode being short in duration and healing for a constant number of hours or days. Recurrence is not limited to one eye or the same site. The anterior scleral area often occurs without localized nodule formation.
